  This was only my second time getting a manicure ever and both times I have just wanted my nails painted. Fake nails are not for me. So I went to the counter and asked how much it was for just paint and they said $12. They talked me into the gel nail polish for $25 and I said sure, because it lasts much longer and it is nice and shiny. So I sit down and I tell Tom, the guy who did my nails, and told him I just wanted the tips painted white and he said that that would end up being $35! Less paint for more money? I couldn't understand his explanation at all so I just said okay, fine. He was silent for the rest of the time, only using grunts and hand gestures to get me to put my hands where he wanted them. I then decided that I wanted glitter over the white on the tips and he put it on so thick that the ends look bulbous and the white part doesn't even cover my whole nail and end line is not even... Needless to say, I will not be returning.
